Seven Acres, Overton

The first of many contracts with local high-quality housebuilder, Bargate Homes, sees Mackoy Groundworks on site helping to develop a  new community in Overton, Hampshire.

About the Groundworks Contract

In January 2019, our team of expert groundwork operatives, began work on the opening phases of a new development for Bargate Homes, in Overton Hampshire.

The £3.5 million deal included the full groundworks infrastructure package with all off-site sewers and drainage, retaining walls and all roads and entrances with 278 works.

Work is expected to take 24 months to complete the new community of 55 high-spec two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for Bargate Homes.

About the Groundworks Services Provided by Mackoy

Whilst on site, Mackoy Groundworks have been responsible for laying underground pipework, providing essential drainage facilities, meeting strict planning approvals. As well as this, and completing our full infrastructure services, the contract sees Mackoy completing soft and hard landscaping services to help shape the communal green spaces in the development.
